Marketing Seminar to Reveal Results of Study on Strategies to Boost Rural Outfitting
  Two experts in destination marketing for adventure and active travel are scheduled to deliver a presentation on destination marketing. Todd Davidson, CEO of the Oregon Tourism Commission, will feature Oregon's efforts to promote rural tourism, what's worked and what hasn't. Bill Owen recently conducted a destination marketing strategy for central West Virginia, including focus groups with potential outfitters' customers. Bill will be detailing the interesting results of his study and what needs to be done to make trips more appealing.
