Forest Service Outfitters – Take a Minute to Answer the Survey Related to Permitting and Fee Issues that May Be Impacting Your Operation – See What’s Happening Elsewhere in the Comment Section
Click here to get to the Survey. We know you are busy, but this could save you some money. We are trying to get the agency to lessen the impact that the Forest Service fee policy is having on some companies this season. Ranger districts often implement different policies, but based on direction from the national office some districts require outfitters to pay for all permitted use, rather than actual use, and require payment on the full advertised price instead of the actual price. Many outfitters and guest ranches have had to discount this year and still have lower demand. We have been able to get some relief on new fee policies in these extraordinary circumstances, so if you operate in National Forests please take a moment to fill out the Forest Service outfitters survey.
