Support the Outfitting Industry

Supporting America Outdoors helps advance the work of growing, protecting, and supporting outfitting businesses across the country. Contributions strengthen national advocacy, industry resources, and leadership programs that help outfitters operate successfully and protect access to the public lands and waterways where they work. Your support benefits the businesses, guides, and communities that bring people outdoors every day.

Your Donation Makes an Impact

  • Strengthen national advocacy that protects access to public lands and waterways for outfitting businesses.
  • Advance fair and reasonable regulation that supports the long-term success of operators.
  • Develop industry resources and programs that help outfitters manage risk, staffing, and operations.
  • Support leadership development and training for the next generation of industry leaders.
  • Build a stronger, more connected outfitting community through collaboration and shared knowledge.

Who Donates to AO?

Support the AO Mission

Your donation helps America Outdoors continue its work advocating for the outfitting industry, protecting recreation access, and providing valuable programs and resources to businesses across the country. Contributions support key initiatives like our advocacy efforts, the Recreation Access and Stewardship Fund, and other mission-driven programs that reflect the real needs of the industry.

We are committed to using all donations thoughtfully and efficiently to maximize impact. America Outdoors does not sell or share donor information, and all contributions are voluntary and separate from membership dues. Transparency and responsible stewardship remain at the core of how we manage and allocate funds.

An Ongoing Way to Give: The Recreation Access & Stewardship Fund

For outfitters who want to support America Outdoors season after season without writing a larger check, the Recreation Access & Stewardship Fund (RASF) offers a simple, sustained alternative. Participating outfitters add a small, voluntary line item to client invoices, then pass those contributions through to America Outdoors on a schedule that fits their business. Clients fund the work directly, and your operation routes it to America Outdoors—the national organization that advocates for your business and protects our industry.

RASF contributions are voluntary, separate from membership dues, and stewarded with the same transparency and care. Outfitters may apply up to 25% of their annual contributions as an offset toward the next year’s dues, or treat the full amount as a donation.
